BRIAN L. STAFFORD, RET. DIRECTOR OF THE UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE, JOINS PROTECTIVE PRODUCTS PARENT COMPANY BOARD OF DIRECTORS

November 6, 2006 — Mr. Larry Moeller, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ceramic Protection Corporation, parent company of Protective Products, today announced that Mr. Brian L. Stafford has joined the Board of Directors of Ceramic Protection Corporation.

Mr. Moeller commented: "Mr. Stafford is a highly respected member of the US intelligence, law enforcement and defense community, and we are very proud to welcome him as a Director of the Corporation. Mr. Stafford's appointment comes at a time when the Corporation is undergoing material growth, especially in the US defense and security marketplace, and a person of his stature and capability will add greatly to the Corporation's ability to strategically plan, develop and diversify."

Mr. Moeller noted that Mr. Stafford had been appointed as the 20th Director of the United States Secret Service in early 1999. Prior to joining the Secret Service, Mr. Stafford served with distinction in the United States Army, where he completed a tour of duty in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star among other decorations and commendations for gallantry and service in the field.

In 2001, Mr. Stafford was the recipient of the Most Distinguished American Award from the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation and, in 2003, was presented with the Distinguished Patriot Award by the Sons of the Revolution.

As a major advocate of community outreach, Director Stafford supported the Secret Service’s critical forensic assistance to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The Secret Service also formed a strong partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America under his direction.

Mr. Stafford earned a B.A. in Business Administration and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. He was inducted into the Ohio Foundation of Independent College’s Hall of Fame of Excellence and received the Mount Union College Award of Excellence. Other Awards include the Presidential Rank Award, the Adam Walsh Rainbow Award presented by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the Aguila Statue Award presented by the Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association.

Mr. Stafford retired from the Secret Service in 2003 after 31 years of distinguished service with the agency. He is currently a member of several Boards of public and private corporations. These include the Boards of McKinley Capital Management, Inc., Good Harbor Partners Acquisition Corporation and Mount Union College. He serves as Vice Chairman of the National Center for the Missing and Exploited Children and Vice Chairman of LexisNexis Special Services, Inc., a US subsidiary of Reed Elsevier.
